Choose one of these Sonoma dog-friendly attractions to keep your pet relaxed and cool on the self-guided day trips.


SANTA ROSA DOG PARKS:

These dog parks in Santa Rosa provide an enclosed, fenced area in which dogs can run and play off leash.

Rincon Valley Community Park, 5108 Badger Road, ½ acre, small and large dog areas. This park also features a swimming pond for dogs, great for hot days and water-loving dogs.

Doyle Park, 700 Hoen Ave., ¼ acre, small and large dog area.

Dan Galvin Park, 3330 Yulupa Ave., ½ acre.

DeTurk Round Barn Park, 819 Donahue Street, ¼ acre, no bathrooms.

Northwest Community Park, 2620 West Steele Lane, ½ acre, small and large dog area.

SONOMA WINERIES THAT WELCOME DOGS:

These Sonoma dog-friendly wineries welcome well-behaved leashed dogs. Many dog-friendly wineries have canine mascots lolling about the driveways or grounds. Please be sure your dog is a respectful guest.

WATER FUN FOR DOGS:

Soar Inflatables, Inc., have inflatable kayaks for rent that allow dogs. They are at 20 Healdsburg Ave., Healdsburg.

Healdsburg Memorial Beach is a public swimming beach that allows dogs on a 6-foot leash to wade in the water. Located at 13839 Old Redwood Highway, Healdsburg.

In Santa Rosa, Rincon Valley Community Park, at 5108 Badger Road has a swimming pond for dogs.


SONOMA COAST BEACHES THAT WELCOME DOGS:

Dogs are allowed on these beaches:

Doran Beach, Marshall Gulch, Carment Beach, Schoolhouse Beach, Portuguese Beach, Duncans Cove, Wright's Beach, Furlong Gulch, Shell Beach, Blind Beach.

Note: Some beaches do not allow dogs for the protection of the wildlife.


DOG-FRIENDLY STATE PARKS:

Jack London State Park, London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen. This park is included on the Sonoma Valley self-guided day trip.

Sonoma dog-friendly attractions are included in the day trips. The visitors center for each day trip will have updated information about where visiting dogs are welcome.
